Ignore the ‘Official Facebook’ thingy, but if you look at Angry Miz Girl’s shirt, it’s actually Mizzy’s “Hello I’m Awesome” shirt.
Seeing that little girl come out on Raw this monday reminded me of a story I read in Bobby Heenan’s bio involving Mark Mcgwire and Goldberg. Mark was a huge Goldberg fan, and one time in 1998 rubbed one of Goldberg’s shirts on his bat, then went on to hit a whole hell of a lot of home runs (superstitions are awesome things). Bobby explained that WCW never even mentioned that this happened, let alone took it as a cross promotion opportunity. He said that if WWE had that opportunity, they would have flown Mark in, filmed a bunch of vignettes, held a press conference, etc. Essentially, WWE management knew how to pick an opportunity and make a grab for it.
“Angry Miz Girl” was one of those moments where you look at WWE and can’t help but think they did everything they could to make that little girl happy. She gave them an image you could never buy. They did their best to return the favour.
Also, the Miz is going to be the WWE champion for a long, long time. He might lose it, because nobody gets Bruno reigns anymore, but that belt is his now.
